Roberta Kells Dorr's books are being re-released by River North an imprint of Moody press. The Sons of Isaac is the latest of these to hit the shelves and it has been fun to reacquaint myself with her wonderful writing.
Rebekah receives news from God that she will bear Isaac twin sons. The message is the youngest will be served by the older and Isaac is sure she has gotten that part of the message wrong. When the twin boys enter their world, things will never be the same. Not only for them, but for the rest of the world also.
A familiar Bible story once again re-written to help us remember that those that are written about in the Bible were real people, with lives of filled with hopes and dreams. It is always good to be reminded of that. Those in the Bible were really no different than us, not perfect, just those that followed God and his request on their lives. Happy Reading,
