New Release - The Traitor's Wife - Allison Pataki
Dear Readers,
I don't say this a lot because you get funny reactions when you say that you like to read/study history. It really was one of my favorite subjects in school and I still like to read an interesting historical book, whether fiction or not.
The Traitor's Wife by Allison Pataki looks like it fits that bill to a 'T.' Set during the Revolutionary War it is what some historians believe is the story behind Benedict Arnold's reason of treason. They believe that because he was disillusioned with way the war was going and several other factors, she was easy to lead astray.
Written as a fiction book, I am not sure how much is actual fact and how much is made up, but that is easy to check against history and it does make for an interesting idea for a book. There is nothing like a book full of intrigue, spies, and treason to pass the hours away.
Happy Reading,
