Brinna want to save innocents no matter the cost. She finds herself embedded in a murder that seems to point to a human trafficking ring. Ivana and her sister leave Bulgaria with the promise of a better life in America, but shortly after arriving, they find out how wrong they were. Brinna races to save them and others like them. But the cost might be her own life. Fast paced, "don't want to lay it down until the last page is read," is probably one of the best ways to describe Janice's books. You will find yourself cheering for Brinna as she fights Goliath in a problem that is raging through out America. This books isn't going to solve the problem for us, but it will give you a bit of an insight as to what the girls themselves go through, but also what our Police departments are doing to stop human trafficking.
