There is nothing like a good Sci-fi book. Of course the other is true, there is nothing so bad as a terrible sci-fi book. Thankfully the Lawhead family writes the good stuff.
The Fearful Gates by Ross Lawhead is book #3 in the Ancient Earth trilogy. He is following in his father's footsteps by involving readers in a world that doesn't exsist, but most of us end up wanting to know better at the end of the series.
The last line of defense for the city Nidergeard is waiting for the army of giants, trolls, and yfelgopes to attack. It is time for the dragons to released and the gates between the worlds to be opened. Will Daniel and Freya and the faithful few be able to stand against them and save Britain and the rest of the world?To find yourself locked in a battle between good and evil is one of the greatest pleasure in reading. To loose yourself in that world and when you come up for air it takes you a second to realize there are not any dragons or trolls chasing you, that is what makes a good book.
