New Release - The Butterfly and the Violin - Kristy Cambron

Dear Readers,

I said that I am taking time off from reading WWII books.  I needed a break from the intensity of the stories that have come out of the war.  The sacrifices that the people made for others and the cruelty of mankind on our fellow humans takes the breath away.  Books like The Butterfly and the Violin by Kristy Cambron make that hard to stick to.

Sera James is in a fragile state.  She has not gotten over being betrayed at the alter by her then fiancé and her world has not been the same since.  She throws herself into her work of art dealer and decides to find a painting that she remembers from her childhood.  As she does research for the painting it leads her back to Germany and the Auschwitz death camp.

I can not seem to keep this book on the shelf.  Every time I bring them in they are gone with in a day or two.  Word seems to be getting out about this book and more and more readers are looking for it.  It will not be an easy read, nothing about Auschwitz is, but it will be one that you will want to share with your fellow readers.

Happy Reading,
