Winter has returned to West Michigan and this weather makes me want to stay home, curl up in a comfy chair and read. Not only is it snowing, it is very cold out. Yuck, right? Why not stay home with a good murder mystery instead of venturing out.
Murder Tightly Knit by Vannette Chapman will fit the bill perfectly. Part of the An Amish Village Mystery series, which draws you back to the town a Middlebury where poor Owen Esch is found dead on the Pumpkinvine Trail. Both Hannah and Amber know that no one in town is capable of murder but the federal investigator isn't so sure. Especially since some of the clues lead right back to Hannah's store, the Cat's Meow yarn shop.
So whether you are a fan of Amish, mystery or knitting, this book is one you should pick up. Vannette has proven over and over that she is an author well worth the time. She writes wonderful characters, interesting plot lines and fun villages. Ones you may wish you lived in, well except for all the murder and mayhem that seems to happen.
