Dear Readers,
Adam Thomas is an ordained Episcopal priest, I would not expect to find a fiction book written by him. But by his own admission he could not be a priest without being a writer and he could not write without being a priest. That is one thing about Abingdon Press, they are looking for fiction writers that might be missed by other publishers, usually with a good results.
Letters from Ruby is Adam's first fiction book and is the story of a Rev Calvin Harper is newly ordained and headed to his first parish. He is not sure how to proceed and Ruby Redding decides to take him under her wing and teach him everything she knows.
This book is a mixture of narrative and letters written from Ruby. It blends well together and keep the story moving along. Ruby's words are not only meant for Calvin, but are words that should also ring true to us all. It is a sweet story of how we at any age can teach or learn from each other.
Happy Reading
