Rescue Team by Candace Calvert is book #2 in the Grace Medical series. This is Candace's second series and if you are looking for good medical mystery books, Candace's are worth checking out. Because of her experience of being an ER nurse she speaks with authority and knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes at hospitals.
Kate is ready to leave her past behind. She guards her heart and life with a prickly attitude and doesn't let any one get close. She is ready to settle down and become Austin Grace Hospital next ER director. When a tragedy shuts the ER down, she runs into a hero that seems to find it neccessary to meddle in her life.
Like I said before, Candace knows the interworkings of an ER and the shows through in her writing. Fast paced, with loads of action, these books don't let you relax until the finally page is turned.
